When I was asked to review the Rachio Smart Sprinkler Controller and include it into our Father’s Day Gift Guide I had assumed it came with the whole sprinkler system. It does not however so I was unable to hook it up myself for testing purposes. I did however give it to my dad for his sprinkler system and it works absolutely amazing and he is in love with it! It came with everything needed to set up and pair with his sprinklers and replaced his controller. He had it hooked up and working within 25 minutes. It also came with the Outdoor Enclosure to keep the Smart Sprinkler Controller up and out of the weather. It completely encloses the unit to keep it protected from water and other elements. He had it paired with his tablet in no time and from there he could control the whole sprinkler system. The app is easy to use and makes it super convenient for my dad to work his system. This Rachio Smart Sprinkler Controller works with Google Assistant, SmartThings, Amazon Alexa, Nest, Xfinity, Control4, Crestron, IFTTT, Nexia and Wink. My dad loves the weather feature. It automatically adjusts the watering schedule based on your daily weather and you can control it yourself with the app. This feature can shave a lot of money off your water bill each month. My dad absolutely loves this Rachio Smart Sprinkler Controller and could not be happier with it. He loves all it has to offer and highly recommend it. It makes a great gift for dad this Father’s Day!
