I love trying out new hair care products on me and my kids. My girls and I all have pretty straight, normal hair so it is pretty easy to find products that work. Even when our hair changes with dryness during season changes, we can use pretty much all hair products in our hair. My son however, is African American Caucasian, so his hair needs a bit more taming. His hair is still pretty soft because he is young, but it dries out pretty easily and when it does that it becomes extremely nappy and he gets a baby fro. I was pretty excited to try La Bella in not only my hair, but my son’s hair as well. I received a 22 fl oz bottle of Smoothing Shampoo + Avocado Oil, a 22 fl oz bottle of Smoother Conditioner + Avocado Oil, a 22 fl oz bottle of Max Hold Styling Gel + Avocado Oil, a 22 fl oz bottle of Lots of Curls Styling Gel + Avocado Oil, a 6 fl oz bottle of Super Shine Serum + Avocado Oil, a 4 oz tub of Vitamin E Face Cream + Vitamin E & Aloe, a 6 oz tube of Curl Cream + Coconut Oil and a Vitamin E Face and Body Oil + Aloe. The Shampoo and Conditioner work best when paired together and both help your hair get silkier and shinier. These have been amazing for all 3 of my kids hair and mine. It doesn’t make my son’s hair frizz up like others do. The Max Hold Styling Gel and the Lots of Curls Styling Gel are both best used in the hair when it is damp. A little goes a long ways in the hair and works extremely well for holding those curls in place. I did find that if I used too much the hair gets crunchy which I do not like, but if you only use a little with the damp hair it is perfect and stays soft. The Super Shine Serum is really nice for days when your hair and scalp are feeling a little dry. It helps smooth it out and has really helped restore moisture to my scalp. All of these hair care products smell amazing too! Finally we get to the Vitamin E Face Cream. This one has been absolutely great for my dry skin. Every year my face, especially my nose, peels and every year I load up on lotions and creams to try to alleviate the dryness and itchiness. After only a few times using this my face felt way softer and the moisture was restored. I went from having large flakes to none at all within a few uses. The Curl Cream + Coconut Oil helps to define and defrizz hair which is nice on my son’s hair. The Vitamin E Face & Body Oil also helps hydrate your skin. I have been using these La Bella products for a while now on my children and myself and we really love them!
