I had the pleasure of receiving a Camerons Stovetop Smoker for review and to include in our Father’s Day Gift Guide. I wasn’t sure how I would like this just because I didn’t think you could possibly get the smoked flavor on your favorite foods without actually smoking it. I had never heard of any stovetop smokers before and never knew anyone to use one so I was eager to try this Camerons Stovetop Smoker. To use it you just put 1.5 Tablespoons of your wood chips into the center of the smoker base. Next you place the drip tray on top of the wood chips and put the wire rack inside of the drip tray. Finally you add your food to the rack, replace the lid and put it on the grill or stovetop. It comes with the wood chips you need to get started and also comes with over 250 recipes. It can cook, smoke and steam all food big and small and gives it an amazing flavor that makes you think you have been cooking for hours on end. It infuses the flavor of the wood chips without any extra oils, fats, salt or calories which is nice and it helps keep the moisture and natural cooking flavors in your food. I made a small roast in it and added fresh veggies and they all were so moist and delicious. My girls asked me to make the same meal the next night because they loved it so much. I have made chicken and corn in it and used the hickory wood chips and it tasted absolutely amazing! It was juicy and had the amazing hickory smoked flavor to it! This Stovetop Smoker also has cut my cooking time in half which has been really nice! You can hand wash it or put it in the dishwasher which is nice and it will stay rust free because it is made from stainless steel. This is an awesome addition to my kitchen and I can not wait to add one to my dad’s kitchen this Father’s Day! It will be the perfect gift for him!
