Mr. Coffee Tea Café Iced Tea Maker - Black
Mr. Coffee Tea Café Iced Tea Maker

When my husband bought this new tea maker I was so happy, because our old one, just wasn’t cutting it at all. My husband has grown quite fond of the whole leaf only vs bagged leafs. As we learned bagged tea actually removes a lot of the flavor and important part of the leafs in the tea, removing quality. Leaf tea is a bit more expensive over buying boxed tea. With leaf tea that you just pour about half full in the filter in the tea maker and once the water hits the leaf’s it will make it expand and make the whole filter look full. This maker is a lot like a coffee maker style but minus the white filters you use and bigger pitcher. This one is much, much better then our old one on so many levels. You can put it in the dishwasher, its easier to pour the water into the side part, the top head will move to the right for storing away. The pitcher is my favorite part, looks and feels like glass but is not. Hold the ice better, keeps the tea colder, pours into a cup better without spilling it. It is very quite and sounds just like a coffee maker but a wee bit softer. My husband uses this about 3-5 times a day on the weekends, and about 2 times a day during the week, so as you can imagine how often this is used, and how much ice we buy. We usually buy the Rite Aid ice, since it is much smaller and has holes in it, it just handles the tea way better less air unlike safe way ice that is bigger and when the tea is done the ice is gone and the tea is still hot. With a bag of rite aid ice we get 3 times with it, with safe way we get 2 times per bags, so as you see, smaller the ice the better it is.
