When we got this food processor it replaced our old one that we got. This processor is much more quit over our old one, which is great on my kids ears. However our old one did much better chopping up veggies more into small chunk style, while this one just turns it into mush. The extra blade that comes with this, will sorta help with that and then use the middle blade. All in all, it is made very well over their older processor. This one is much heavier and the pieces stand well in the dishwasher on top or bottom racks. As I have a husband who loves salsa or anything along those lines you can imagine how much this is used daily. Putting the dish on and locking is much easier over the last one for sure. The top still is buggy and has some issues sliding in to lock into place, but it is a bit smoother. The buttons are a bit rough to push but I’m sure it probably just needs to be worked into. The blade is pretty sharp and will chop veggies, meat, fish, and anything else you want to blade up. This food processor has been the new favorite must use item in our house for sure and if any of you loved chopped veggies for salsa and so on, then this is right up your alley. Oh and guess what you can make mayo, mustard, and all those liquid yummy homemade stuff in this too. We made home-made mayo and it was delish!
