About them: Spin Master was founded in 1994 by two childhood friends, Ronnen Harary and Anton Rabie, soon after graduation from The University of Western Ontario. Ben Varadi, a classmate of Anton’s from The University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of business, joined the Company subsequently in 1994. When Spin Master began to chart it’s course in the children’s entertainment industry, the founders recognized that in order to compete successfully with the established brands of larger companies, they had to design and market innovative products that would “wow” consumers and disrupt the traditional toy market.
Two out of three of my kids love cars, trucks, rc toys, etc so we were super excited to receive a Demo Duke to review and include in our Holiday Gift Guide this years. I have seen a lot of toys over the years that just don’t meet up with your expectations on what you think they will do and this one is super cool and does exactly as it says it does which is a nice change. It has over 100 sound effects which is pretty neat and is super easy to play with and enjoy. Your kiddo just revs it up, drives it, demolishes it and fixes it up with a quick touch of a button! It is loads of fun! My 3, 7 and 9 year olds all have spent countless hours enjoying this truck and I highly recommend it! It makes phrases, sounds and more and will be sure to keep your kid entertained for hours on end!
