Born in China

About them: Disney’s Born In China, narrated by John Krasinski, transports audiences to some of the world’s most extreme environments of China where few people have ever ventured to witness wildly intimate and adorable moments in the lives of three animal families – a doting panda bear mother, a 2-year-old golden snub-nosed monkey, and a mother snow leopard. It is the seventh theatrical release from Disneynature, which brings the world’s top nature filmmakers together to share wildlife stories that engage, inspire and educate.

My kids and I absolutely love wildlife and everything having to do with it. I was probably more excited than they were when we received a Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD copy of Disney’s Born in China for review and I had every reason to be! It has a feature running time of 79 minutes and is rated G so the whole family can enjoy it! I absolutely adored this movie! I have already watched it three times and just cant get enough of it. It takes you through the lives of extraordinary animals that live and flourish in China. It tells you about a mother snow leopard and what she must do to protect and feed her two small snow leopard cubs. It also takes you through an in depth look at a family of snub-nosed monkeys, specifically a young 2 year old and his immediate family. It also walks you through the bond between a mother panda and her baby. This story is not only adorable and loaded with amazing documentary on the animals themselves but also filled with awesome information about each species and their survival in China. It is truly an amazing film and I highly recommend it! The story is great, video of these animals in their natural habitat is amazing and it is extremely informative for kids and adults of all ages! The blu-ray has some pretty spectacular bonus features too! These include Walking With Monkeys which gives you a look at how the snub-nosed monkeys interacted with the humans capturing them on film, Wading Through Wetlands, an in depth look at the very first moments of a red-crowned cranes life and Masters Of Camouflage, a better look at how Snow Leopards camouflage themselves in the wild. These are all awesome and the disk includes even more bonus features as well! Born in China comes out on August 29th everywhere and I highly recommend it! Pre-order your copy today!
