I have five strictly indoor cats and with having five cats comes a few litter boxes. I am always cleaning their litter boxes and if I go even a day longer than the normal cleaning then the odor gets overwhelming. I have found a few good litters that mask the odors but cleaning the litter boxes is just not a fun chore to have to do daily however has to be done. I have always wanted a Robotic Litter Box. The thought of not having to constantly scoop poop and urine clumps has always been a dream of mine! When I had the opportunity to try out the Litter-Robot Open Air I was ecstatic and could not wait to set it up and give it a try! Let me tell you, owning cats has never been more pleasant than it has been since I received this unit! It has so many awesome features but the best one of all is that I have not had to scoop poop or pee for quite some time! It self cleans after each and every time the cats use it. It cleans itself and the feces and urine automatically goes into a drawer. Once the drawer is full an indicator goes off so you know without having to constantly check it. You just empty the drawer out when it is time and you are good to go! Because it automatically cleans itself the odor is almost non-existent which is nice. It is perfect for my adult cats and my kittens, though it did take a few days for my kittens to figure out how to get in and out of it, but after they did they loved it. Coming from a home with five indoor cats I can say this is great with multiple feline companions. My cats had three litter boxes that I had to clean daily and now we only have the Litter-Robot Open Air and I only have to dump the drawer out once a week! It is quiet and self contained which is so nice. It even has a nice little nightlight. If you are to the point like I was of not wanting to clean your cats litter box daily then I highly recommend making the investment and getting a Litter-Robot Open Air for your home! I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!
