This monitor you place one in the babies room, and you carry the other one, or clip it to your clothes if you’re moving around. Has secure audio transmission, talk-back intercom, vibrating sound-alert on the parent unit, the baby unit includes a night light that shines in the eyes on the baby unit, and up to 1,000 feet of range. What I also liked is if you live in a 2 story house and the rooms are on a different floor or across the house, this will work perfectly and won’t lose connection at all. They charge up pretty quickly, and when its on one battery life seems to last a long time. I love how you can talk back to the baby if it wakes up and needs some comfort before you get to the room. These owls are just do adorable, and these monitors are just so easy to use, even elderly can use them just fine.
