I got the MiVue 420, which comes with a cord to plug into your outlet, or use the batteries, however I rather use the cord since I drive a lot. Mine sits in my 2017 Chevrolet Impala windshield with the stand that it comes with. As soon as I turn my car on by the button it will turn on right away and start recording, and when I shut my car off, it will turn off. With the mini SD card it came with it will record a ton of video of the road, and will just stop once you run out of space. It tells you how fast you’re driving, uses WiFi as well, has option to take pictures on the spot, as well as other fun, and important features like driver fatigue alert, headlight reminder, parking mode, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and many others as well. Its very lightweight and the screen is 2.7 with LCD display. I love how the buttons are soft and easy to press, when you’re driving and need to capture something. Very easy to use, quality of the display is amazing, and very durable to drops, and weather.
