I have never eaten vegan cheese but am always looking for healthier alternatives when cooking and baking so I was really excited to received a couple bags of GO VEGGIE Vegan Cheese for review. I received two 6 oz bags that had 8 individually wrapped 3/4 oz cheese bars in each. The first was the White American Style Bars. I personally do not like any type of american cheese so was not a fan of these ones at all. My room mates and kids loved them though! They were great snacks for my kids and melted for grilled cheese sandwiches nicely! The next one was White Cheddar & Meatless Bacon Style Bars. These ones were much better than the others in my opinion. I enjoyed adding these to meals I cooked and especially liked when I melted them to put on our baked potatoes. My kids and room mates both enjoyed this one as well! I love that they are all individually wrapped. They are great for school lunches and for on the go in picnics and such. They are only 60 calories each, non GMO and have no cholesterol, lactose or gluten in them at all. They are also 35% less fat than your typical cheeses. If you are a Vegan or looking for a healthier alternative to cheese, then these may be right for you!
