Upere gave me the wonderful opportunity to work with them on one their shoes. I got the ‘Aster’ wedge sneaker to try out. I am not one that is fond of shoes of all types except flats. Though when the mood or party strikes I always love wearing fancy shoes. When I got my pair, I was so stoked. They came in a sack for each shoe for storage and safe keeping. These shoes are on the bit expensive side, mind these are my first pair of shoes over $150 bucks and these are $250 bucks. When I got them I had no idea they have hidden heels inside of them. You seriously cannot tell from the outside at all. These shoes are pretty light weight and they do add a few inches on you. Plus only you know why, as others sit and wonder since they don’t see any heels at all. These shoes are great to add to a dress or leggings, not something you would wear all day unless it doesn’t involve too much walking. However these shoes are super soft and very comfortable, that caught me by surprise for sure. They did stink when I got them, though most shoes usually do, but once they were left out on our shoe rack by the front door the smell was gone within 24 hours. They go on by 4 simple Velcro straps 3 in the front and one behind the tongue. I was able to slip them on by losing the first strap only. I am a size 9 in woman’s and these shoes fit perfectly by the size, even leaving a tiny bit of moving room!

These shoes for sure are not shoes you would see everyday for sure. Though they are extremely popular now, wedge shoes or heels. I still cannot get over how amazingly comfortable these shoes fell on my feet. You can even wear ankle flats socks with these shoes and they stay in place the whole time. The tongue totally reminds me of the 80’s shoes that you pump the tongue to make them bigger, first thing I thought of when I saw how big the tongue is. The tongue is very soft and squishy and very easy to pull up out the way when putting them on! The material on the shoes are great and made well. I found no flaw or lose stitch at all. They are surely well put together and for that price they better do a magic trick right, well they do, you just can’t see it, until you put your feet into them. The shoes themselves are pretty thin so they store away easily on a shoe rack or in the closet without taking up much room at all.
