When we got ours it took about 24 hours for the base to get frozen and ready to use. Took about 5 minutes to get it all set up and ready. We did a mixture of things, soda which didn’t work out well, kool aid which worked out great, then blended up a fruit smoothie to pour in and did great. We also made some wine ones for night-time, and it turned out way to good. It is easy to follow on how to make your own pops. Has a pour line, and takes about 9-20 minutes to freeze depending on how clear the liquid is or how thick the fruit is. Was very easy to do, you need like 5 of them to have some real fun, especially when you’re throwing a pool party and its hot out, and you have way to many people wanting one as well. But in the end everyone got 1-2 pops and the base handled about 30 pops on it, before it started to unfreeze. Great fun this pop maker has done for us, when we want to be lazy and enjoy the AC.
