Thrive Ice Cream Review

About Them: The THRIVE Frozen Nutrition concept began almost a decade ago, with the idea of providing a premium ice cream like product that would “pack” nutrition into a great tasting form. Ice cream and dairy products are a natural carrier of great tasting nutrition such as proteins, calcium, vitamins and minerals. At the same time Ice Cream is a favorite food of most Americans. Because of its unique nutritional offerings and broad appeal, ice cream like products are a natural fit for added nutrition lacking in the diets of many consumers today. This concept grew and was intentionally developed over the last several years to not only taste good, but also to provide a source of complete and balanced nutrition for those individuals needing a calorie dense food. Thrive contains a wide variety of nutritional benefits including Protein, Fiber, Probiotics, Vitamins and Minerals.

Thrive Ice Cream

Thrive ice cream, one those kinds that are healthy alternative types. Funny I am not really an ice cream person (ate it too much as a kid) so now I’m like blah, all those calories and no good additives to the body. When I got these, all wrapped up in a Styrofoam box, with dry ice to keep them cold. I gave some to my neighbor and the husband liked it more. Then when my husband got home he tried it, was like its okay. I love these, they are so good, they are somewhat healthy. I think the amount of calories could be lower, but its jammed pack with vitamins and other things that are good for you.. I have downed so many, they are so good, I can now be like I ate ice cream and didn’t gain a billion calories which is nice. They have 4 flavors, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and chocolate fudge, then you get to containers per pack. Something I would totally buy in the future. Eating ice cream never felt so great when you know you wont gain a lot. It also has fiber in it, which is a huge great thing to have for your body. I honestly was amazed when I saw that, it like gets better and better! One thing I would mention I don’t like the tops on these, a plastic cap would be better to help keep freezer burn away. If you have a bunch and don’t eat them fast enough, the top that just peels off, will let freezer burn in, then it just doesn’t taste right there at all. That’s my only suggestion! The cups give you like 50 spoon full give or take. The flavor is right on, and the formula of the ice cream is perfect. Like how the cup will give you the just right amount you need, cause I never went for seconds.
