My kids and I had the pleasure of receiving a Thomas & Friends Sodor Steamworks Work Bench for review. This is for ages three and up and does take some assembly. The instructions are easy to read and follow, making this fairly quick and easy to set up and play with. It comes with 34 pieces total which include a facade, two facade side hooks, a work bench table, a work bench tray, four work bench legs, four screws, one screwdriver, one hammer, a wrench, a cranky, one cranky hook, one breakaway buckle, one pallet, a water tower, a buildable train, one buildable train screwdriver and instructions. It has three repair bays that are good for diagnosing water level, railroad crossing gates and coal supplies. It has lights and makes sounds and even has a working crank that can move the engines. It stands 38 inches high, 24 inches wide and just under 20 inches deep so is a perfect size for younger kids! The side hooks and tray underneath are great for storing tools and trains. My kids love this toy and enjoyed building and repairing their train. It is fun and interactive for girls and boys. You can get additional tools and accessories to go with it separately but it is super fun as is too! It works with wooden, plastic and die cast engines too. If you have a train or Thomas lover at home this would make a great Christmas gift for them this holiday season!
