I received a Blu-ray and Digital HD copy of Southside With You for review. It has a feature running time of 84 minutes and has a few special features which include Commentary with Writer and Director Richard Tanne and Original Artwork and Animations. I honestly was not quite sure what to expect with this movie but was excited to watch it. It is a really good movie based on the real life first date between Barack Obama and Michelle Robinson, our current First Couple. It takes place in 1989 when Barack was a law associate. He uses all his charm to capture the attention of his boss and attorney Michelle Robinson. It is romantic and absolutely heartwarming seeing their first moments together unfold in this film. Barack takes Michelle on a day long date that is perfect from the get go. I absolutely loved every minute of it and couldn’t wait to watch it again! It is a true love story and a must have! It came out everywhere on December 13th and I highly recommend bringing your copy home today! It would make an excellent gift this holiday season!
