SoCozy Hush ~ Mother’s Day Gift Guide

About them: If you bottle over 22 years of experience and expertise about kids’ hair, you’ve got the SoCozy line of products created by Cozy Friedman, the woman who founded the first children’s hair salons in New York City. Before buzzwords like parabens and phthalates, Cozy adopted a higher standard for her products that relies on quality and integrity, not chemicals and preservatives.  Today, that standard is a promise: “no nasties—ever,” and that means peace of mind.

I had the pleasure of receiving the new SoCozy Hush hair care products for babies and kids to review and include in our Mother’s Day Gift Guide. This is a full range of treatment-based hair care products to help nurture, protect, treat and improve and maintain healthy hair and a healthy scalp. We received a 6 fl oz bottle of Sensitive Styling Foam, a 4 fl oz bottle of Sensitive Scalp Serum, an 8 fl oz bottle of Sensitive Detangler and a 6.7 fl oz tube of Sensitive 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner. These have been great for my girls who have serious sensitivity to a lot of hair care products. My four year old has a super dry scalp and itches nonstop when we use anything in her hair that doesn’t agree with her scalp. Since I started using these Hush products in her hair the dandruff has disappeared and the dryness of her scalp and behind her ears has gone away completely! The Sensitive 2 in 1 Soothing Shampoo and Conditioner is awesome! It smells great and lathers exceptionally well. It even came with an attached brush on top so you can squeeze it in the hair and gently massage the scalp which all three of my kids just love! My 6 year old hates having her hair washed but begs me to do it now because she knows she will have a massage with the attached brush and she loves it. The Sensitive Detangler is something we use daily! My oldest has one spot on her hair that gets super nappy because it curls more there. This detangling spray goes on nice, smells good and doesn’t leave any residue. It makes it super easy to comb through my kids hair and I would be lost without it! I love using the Sensitive Styling Foam on my son’s hair. He has naturally curly hair and when not managed turns into a little baby fro. Since using this his cute little curls stay tight and it doesn’t get frizzy or fro out. It keeps the hair in place and doesn’t leave a residue at all. The Sensitive Scalp Serum has been a huge blessing when it comes time to getting my daughters dry scalp balanced. Within a few days of using it the itching had stopped and the dandruff was about 60% gone. Within a few more uses it was gone! I love how well these products work and that they are safe to use on my son who is a baby and my girls who are four and six years old. Having one line of products that works for all of them is a blessing. They don’t have any nasty stuff in them and don’t leave nasty residues like a lot of products do and I highly recommend them. Treat yourself this Mother’s Day to the gift of happy kids and happy hair!

Disclosure: I received these products for free, in exchange for my honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products and services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
