[Review] Pot Cake Collars: Bark, Play, Relax

Potcake” is the Bahamian term for the thick, leftover food that remains in the bottom of a pot of peas ‘n rice after several reheatings.Traditionally, Bahamians fed potcake to the outdoor, indigenous dogs that freely populated the Bahamas. Hence the dogs have come to be known as Potcakes. Although officially considered mixed breed dogs, the Royal Bahamian Potcake is now a recognized breed in The Bahamas. They have distinct characteristics of size and temperament. This is because, until very recently, all island dogs shared the same isolated gene pool. This makes the Potcake an extremely unique species of canine. Throughout the islands, you can see many of these local dogs that are in desperate need of a home and someone to love them. Nonprofit organizations rescue the homeless dogs on the islands, and help to get them adopted, when these animals otherwise may have not had a chance of surviving on their own. Many tourists go to the islands for a relaxing vacation, and end up finding so much more—a family member and lifetime friend. You can also find them on Facebook too!

Pot Cake Collars: The hippest stylish collars for your doggy’s!

I got a surprise collar just letting them know the size I needed, So I got the Bahama Breeze one (First one on list). So pretty, with a all black lab. Shes a very old doggy. I just love how this collar meshes well with her coat and her personality! It shipped to me quick and was wrapped up very pretty, well protected up! I almost didn’t want to open it. Then when I did I was so happy with this Hawaiian style collar. Good quality, the clip is huge and easy to open, although our neighborer had a difficult time opening it, as it was to hard to unsnap, it was super easy for me! I love this collar and so does the dog, she thinks she all that, she walks around the house like she owns it, lol only if she new she does! I haven’t been able to get a picture with my doggy wearing it, cause she old, and haven’t had a chance to get a good day yet, with her wearing it. I will be doing a follow up with this review in few months. on how it looks, how it handles and so forth! This site is super cute, and super cute collars and more. With great prices!
