[Review] CeraVe

In 2005, researchers in the U.S. partnered with leading dermatologists to develop a line of skin care products designed to help repair and strengthen the skin barrier. Experts understood that the skin barrier serves an important function in promoting healthy skin and that key components of the skin barrier are deficient in compromised skin conditions. CeraVe is the first brand to contain the essential ceramides, cholesterol and fatty esters that healthy skin needs, delivered through a patented controlled-release MVE® system over 24 hours. The daily regimen of cleansers and moisturizers helps repair, replenish and protect the skin barrier to leave your skin looking and feeling soft, clean and healthy. Developed with dermatologists and accepted by the National Eczema Association, CeraVe® now has a full line of products recommended for Face and Body to address not only dry skin but also for use as part of a recommended skin care regimen for those with skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea and atopic dermatitis.

Developed with dermatologists, CeraVe SA Renewing Lotion helps restore and repair extremely dry, rough skin. Its patented Multivesicular Emulsion (MVE®) for controlled release over time with ceramides that moisturize and soften skin. CeraVe® SA also uses salicylic acid to penetrate the skin more deeply to slough off dry, rough bumpy skin. It’s enriched with antioxidant vitamin D, and is the only product on the market that is Non-comedogenic and non-irritating.

CeraVe Lotion

I gave this to my neighbor whom had cancer. She lost alot of nerve damage from it, and has hard time dealing with the nerve damage. So I gave this to her and she loved it because it helped her hands with the damage and didn’t hurt when she uses it. She uses lotion 24/7 due to the cancer she had to keep her from hurting. She said she loved it, smell isnt to bad, big portion in bottle, lasts long time cause you only need a little bit. I tried it once before I gave it to her, and I liked how it dries fast and doesn’t leave a oily residue behind!
