I had the pleasure of receiving a couple great titles from PBS to watch and include in our Mother’s Day Gift Guide. The first one I watched was To Walk Invisible: The Bronte Sisters. It had a feature running time of 120 minutes and takes place in 1845. The Bronte Sisters Emily, Charlotte and Anne have to support their father and crazy brother and their only escape is into their imaginative fantasy world built on stories and poems. As this family life gets worse, Charlotte decides that the only way to better their situation is by publishing their works. It is an incredible story of perseverance and overcoming obstacles. Definitely a great movie! The bonus dvd comes with An Authentic Story and The Bronte Story which are both good.

The next one that I received to include in our Mother’s Day Gift Guide was the complete first season of Victoria. It is 415 minutes total and also includes over 20 minutes of bonus material. I will tell you this. I thought Victoria was absolutely perfect and I could not stop watching it. It takes you through the early years of the Queen. It takes you through her transformation from an 18 year old to a wife, mother then up to becoming a major global empire as Queen. It is fantastic story and I really enjoyed it! The bonus features are great too. They include a tour of the Buckingham Palace Set, Creating the CGI Magic and more. These are both excellent and I highly recommend them. They would make great Mother’s Day Gifts for your mom or special woman in your life!

Disclosure: I received these products for free, in exchange for my honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products and services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
