My kids love PBS and they are always excited to receive a DVD with one of their favorite PBS shows on it. They were really stoked when they saw that the All About Allergies DVD had not one, but several of their favorite PBS characters on it. It has a feature running time of 7 minutes and has 5 fun episodes with 4 of their favorite characters total. These episodes includes Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Daniel’s Allergy, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Allergies at School, Arthur: Binky Goes Nuts, Pet + Cat: The Allergy Problem and WordWorld: Achoo! My girls love all these shows and characters so they were thrilled when they realized this dvd had several of them. In all five of these stories, these PBS characters learn all about allergies and in turn, teach kids all about allergies which is nice. My daughter has seasonal allergies and is allergic to cats so she really related to these shows. Daniel Tiger eats a peach for the first time and realizes he is allergic to it and Binky from Arthur has a peanut allergy. In WordWorld they teach the words that go with allergies which my 4 year old really enjoyed. All five of these stories are fun and educational. My kids have already watched this DVD multiple times and really love it. If you want a good educational movie about allergies for your kids then All About Allergies is a great one do just that! • My daughter is allergic to cinnamon, of all things. It’s weird. She hasn’t always been allergic to it. Last year, when she was 15, she was eating something that had cinnamon on it and her lips got really swollen. She had to take benedryl. Thankfully, she didn’t have a severe reaction. It just goes to show that allergies can develop at any time.
