So week 2 was a lot easier than week 1. Preparing meals has become easier and my kids have even started eating more of the veggies that they weren’t eating before and have even been asking for more salads and such throughout the week! I just make sure my entire fridge is stocked with fresh fruits and veggies so there are plenty of options at any given time. I am a nursing mom so on a bit higher calorie intake then people who aren’t nursing are and have lost the 3 pounds I gained the first week and am down an additional two pounds. So total I have lost 2 pounds from my starting weight which is right about where they want me to be since I am nursing. My milk supply has not dropped at all which is perfect as well. My current weight is 225 and I am already feeling a difference in the way my shirts fit so I must be toning as well. So far I have not added any extra exercise because I wanted to see how the food would affect me but will be restarting my aqua zumba going into this third week. I am drinking about 80 oz of water a day and feeling energized which is a nice change. So far all the food is delicious. I have not run into any that I dislike. Some of my favorites are the melts. They are absolutely delicious and I look forward to them. As far as my flex meals I really like to eat salmon or chicken with fresh steamed veggies. I am really enjoying my Nutrisystem journey so far. It is easy to follow and the results are already getting noticed!
