Nokia’s Lumia 920 Phone Review

Today I am talking about the New Nokia Lumia 920 phone, that we bought November 14, 2012 over the internet. We were Tmobile people, when we finally switched over to the AT&T people. My husband had the windows 7 phone with tmobile so I kinda got used to how it ran, mind I had an Android phone at the time. Then finally I get that email we can pre-order the new phones, we bought ours, my husband got the red one, and I got the yellow one. Now after purchase we did have an issue, they canceled my phone number transfer, we didn’t do anything at the time just probably a glitch. A week later the phones come woo hoo, we were so excited, to find out my husbands came and mine didn’t, what a drag. I wanted to end the Android phone ASAP. So I did some research to find out people who ordered the yellow one’s were on a wait list, mind one you ordered your phone, you can’t change it, so we waited and waited, then night before thanksgiving eve, the status moved to shipped. It showed up day before Thanksgiving, now I saw that so I went out, to Costco on the busiest day in the world, I just wanted to pull all my hair out, what was I thinking and the traffic was horrible, people driving like idiots. Then finally out of the zoo, went to UPS Store picked up my 11 packages to review, and come home and bam my phone is in my hand. Yes, I did have to wait for it, but while I did I got to use my husband’s phone to get used to windows 8 as I was literally thrown into it. Learning it all from scratch!! If you are ever in the market for a new phone here is the Specs on this awesome phone!! When we got ours it was when they were doing the wireless chargers at the time, so we got 2 black ones, will discuss that below.

Now I am in love with my new phone, I have had it for a little over a month and half now. The phone is wee bit heavy, but I actually don’t mind it as it makes it easy to find buried in the diaper bag. This has to be the funniest phone ever. Mind my yellow phone is my bumble bee phone, it stings me every time I get a notification. It only has frozen on me 3 times which was only in the words with friends game app. There are tons and tons of games, music, movies, that are free and to buy. Though if you have Netflix or Hulu then your golden! I have dropped it a few times, mind I have 2 toddlers, and the only dent it made was in the ground and not my phone. The one feature my husband and many others say they don’t like is the little vibration it puts off on touching the 3 main buttons on the bottom, but it doesn’t bother me, got used to that pretty quick actually! The screen is huge, loads fast, slider is fast, runs apps fast. The camera is awesome, and what is really cool it works even awesome in the dark. Below will be another picture thing of how good the camera is. They also have some fun camera apps with it panorama is a fun one, but is one that needs practice, and a few other fun add on’s, just wish they would get instragram on it, I miss it, in spite their new news about it. I am still to this day learning how to use it, as I am getting used to Windows 8 and not 7.

As you see above in different options the camera gives you great photo’s. Indoor, Indoor without flash, Inside while moving without flash, Up close indoors, and amazing night-time pictures with flash. This is a must have camera if you enjoy good quality pictures. I use my camera a lot with my PRing and I do edits sometimes to, or using my mini studio with my phone. Anyways I love this phone, its heavy, durable, good quality, amazing pictures, specs are great, I haven’t even used have my GB yet, and I have alot of pictures, emails, games, and PR Media Info on it. I mainly use my phone for my PR Media needs and it complete’s me, stuff the Android could never do. The battery life for me is about 2 days worth and I use a lot of data on my phone daily. I love the volume options, the easy putting people and numbers in the phone, I love the tiles option with picking your own colors of 16. It’s very personalize to your liking. Making the button big, small, or wide and they look differently with each. OHHH and we can’t forget about Kids Corner option if you have kids and you don’t want them to mess with your phone options, I love it, very handy option I must say, no more resetting my phone from my 2-year-old.

Here are some more picture-taking options with the camera. Anyways if you’re in the look out for a new phone it’s a great one, it does use Windows 8 but you will get used to it in the matter of time, it’s always fun exploring new software if its been forever. So with all that said, you can get this phone for a great price and you can choose up to 5 colors, and they do have some covers already for it. It is still a pretty new phone as of November 7th release date for AT&T members and 14th for new members. Now that the shortage has calmed down, the wait is short, and don’t forget the wireless charger, its amazing, fast catching, lightweight, easy to move to rooms, and its wireless!! We have the red one and the yellow one, and they both look fabulous and work amazing, the flash is amazing, runs fast, and most of all, its a great quality metal/plastic looking phone, and can withstand toddler using damage!
