Nixplay

About Them: We have a real story which starts with real people. Creedon Technologies was founded in 2007 with a vision to connect people with technology – in a meaningful way. As the parent company to NIX and Nixplay, innovation, insight and human connection were the foundations of everything we set out to do. The ability to display digital memories in a new way showed us the power of sharing memories. With Nixplay, we harnessed the best in Cloud storage, service technology, and security to deliver the photos you love to the people you want to share them with. Today we have offices in the U.S, U.K, Canada, China and the Philippines and we are committed to delivering high-quality frames and services, internationally.

Nix Lux

Nixplay is a great company if you’re looking for devices to show off your pictures remotely in your home, send one-off to the grandparents or family, the office, and wherever you like to show off your pictures. I have reviewed for Nixplay (Other Nixplay 1, Nixplay 2 Nixplay 3 frames I reviewed in the past) and have always loved working with them as they grow in products. This one is their latest version the Nix Lux which comes in 3 screen sizes, 8″, 10″, and 13″, which also varies in price from $129, $149, and $179. Which can be purchased here, just in time for Christmas! Also has 2 color option wood, and medal. I got the 13 inches in wood color. This version is not wi-fi compatible but supports plug-and-play from USB device or SD/SDHC memory card. This also offers videos, pictures, Horizontal or Vertical images. Also offers woven power cable stand for adjustable viewing, thin design profile, and wall-mountable with optional. Comes to you nicely wrapped up, everything organized nicely, the frame is well protected when traveling too. This was super easy to set up, just connected it up to my laptop, picked a handful of images, and some video’s until it got full, and then shipped it off to my parents for grandparents day which just passed in August. Took me like 5 minutes to get it up and running, doesn’t come pre-charged, then like 30 minutes or so to get all images and videos on it. I did also fill an SD card for them, which I mailed to them with the frame, so they can add more images as they like. I still have one of my Nixplay from a few years ago and still works great. They last a long time, very durable, can handle some low leveled drops just fine, and made very well!
