National Apple Month

About them: October is National Apple Month! National Apple Month is the only national, generic apple promotion in the United States. Originally founded in 1904 as National Apple Week, it was expanded to the entire month of October.

With October being National Apple Month I have been pretty excited to do as many activities and crafts as possible with my kids to celebrate. I also have been trying to incorporate as many snacks and foods that include apples into our routine as possible for added fun this month! We received several snacks and a drink to review and to help celebrate National Apple Month as well. The first two were Oatmeal Fruit Squeeze Pouches. They came with a twist top that can be put back on if your little one doesn’t finish it and came in 4 oz sizes. They were Apple Quinoa Cinnamon and made with whole grains, vegan and gluten free. My son loved these but my girls didn’t like the texture. They loved the flavor but my son really enjoyed the texture and flavor. All three of my kids loved the Welch’s Fruit Snacks! There were 10 individually wrapped packages inside the box and they were a delicious Apple Orchard Medley flavor. Each pack was only 80 calories so they were a nice snack for on the go and to pack for school lunches! The Viki’s Granola was absolutely fantastic. I am a huge granola lover so it didn’t last long. It came in a 12 oz sized bag and was Apple Cinnamon flavored. It was made with all natural ingredients and gluten free. My kids and I loved it! The last one we received to help celebrate National Apple Month was a bottle of Crisp Apple Sparkling Ice. This has actually become my new favorite zero calorie drink. I love that it is tasty and not loaded with unnecessary calories. It has vitamins and antioxidants too which is nice! This beverage as well as the snacks we were sent were great additions for us to help celebrate National Apple Month!

Disclosure: I received these products for free, in exchange for my honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products and services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
