My mom, mom friends, and other women in my life including myself love books. I love books of all different types and that is why I was excited to receive a couple books from Workman Publishing Co. to review and include in our Mother’s Day Gift Guide. The first one is fun and perfect for moms with a sense of humor. It is called Everything is the Worst: A Book for People Who Just Can’t. It is a fun little hardback book that says what many of us want to say but can’t or won’t say. Life is hard, things and some people suck. Some people turn to drinking, while others swear and make snide or sarcastic remarks. This book has it all! It is fun, humorous and sure to put a smile on any moms face that reads through it! The next one is called 50 Ways To Draw Your Beautiful, Ordinary Life: Practical Lessons in Pencil and Paper by Irene Smit and Astrid van der Hulst of Flow Magazine. This book is super fun and contains a lot of goodies like tracing paper, do it yourself post cards and more. It helps walk you through step by step instructions and drawing lessons that help readers create and develop their own artistic abilities. It really helps encourage you to look around you for things in your every day life that inspire your creativity. If you are looking for a good gift idea for your mom, friend, or other important mom in your life then consider one or both of these books for Mother’s Day!

Disclosure: I received these products for free, in exchange for my my honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products and services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
