So when we bought our house the previous owners treated the upstairs so badly. The house was neglected so badly by the animals the people selling the house had to tear out the carpet. Now if you have pets and even though you suck it out the carpet, it will always be in the floor boards. The house was in bad shape. We were living downstairs for 2 years while the upstairs was being built up. New floor boards in some spots, new drywall, new everything. Finally we are able to get the house painted, black carpet in, floor boards along the walls, new lamps, pretty much from the ground up. It took 2 years and what seemed like forever. We always had people coming and going, we had to stay at a hotel while the house was being painted (which we all got E coli poisoning, not fun) it took forever. Finally last summer we were able to move upstairs into new carpet, bed, toddler beds.
The bold geometric pattern will stand out in any room. Breathe new life into your home with this Mohawk Home Danger Zone rug. Now mind you while we were downstairs and my husband was off at work and the kids in school. By myself I brought up 2 chairs as you can see one to the left and they were not light at all. Then I brought the couch through the front door by myself, coffee table, TV and so on all by myself yes it was heavy, annoying, and I probably shouldn’t have, but who else would have, part of a mommy’s job when a mommy is determined, mind this furniture we got when my grandmas passed. So this furniture is from like the 60’s. I know for now it doesn’t match the flooring or the fancy rug, but someday that will change.
This rug is very nice, made well, sits well on the carpet, corners don’t curl up. Its heavy but not to heavy. Doesn’t feel that much different then the carpet so it’s not like you will notice as much the difference. The rug is soft, and very comfortable to sit on, play on, and eat next to it. I love the design very much it fits our house perfectly and with 3 boys in the house, my husband and 2 kids. Being able to design it, to my liking which I only get for some parts of the house. This rug just the name is perfect, my 3-year-old whom is a little busier so just the both combined it was a perfect fit. Last year I did the outside rug for review which was very nice when the kids were little and the patio was so new, we needed some protection! This company just has a great variety to choose from and such amazing rugs for your house, outside, runners, bathrooms and so much more you will simply be amazed as well!
