I had the pleasure of receiving a couple of milkmakers cookies and a couple samples of their Lactation Tea to review. First off, the cookies are absolutely delicious! I received a 2 oz Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Lactation Cookie and a 2 oz Oatmeal Raisin Lactation Cookie. These cookies are pretty big and when you first take them out of the package they look like they might be on the dryer side but they are perfect! I have been nursing for almost 6 years. I nursed my first born for about 15 months, my second for 28 months and am now nursing my 7 month old son. I have always produced enough milk when just breastfeeding but never seem to be able to pump much for when I am away from my kids. After eating these cookies I was engorged shortly after each time. These cookies work great! Not only are they amazing tasting but they do their job exceptionally well too! I could not be happier with them. I also received a sample of Coconut Lactation Tea and a sample of their Original Lactation Tea and generally I do not like lactation tea but these are really good and also do the job fairly well. I have been recommending the cookies especially to all my nursing mama friends. I love that they not only help increase your milk supply but they are also made with healthy ingredients. They are made with organic aats, flour, flax seeds and brewers yeast! If you are looking to boost your supply but don’t have the time to make your own cookies then these milkmakers ones are great ones to have on hand!
