Marky Sparky Review + Christmas Guide

darts2013-600About Them: The picture above is Marky Sparky. It was taken in 1959. We think that he is on the verge of inventing his first toy. Note the large forehead and sneaky eyes. These traits have become synonymous with great innovators within the “Toy Inventing” community. He seemed early on to possess the Toy Inventor look that would enable him to become a legend in his own mind…

Blast Pad
Blast Pad

Marky Sparky sent my boys three toys for them to have fun with along with the kiddo’s I have fun babysitting through the week. For starters the best one the kids have fun with and I do as well, even grandpa had fun playing with the Blast Pads. Its a carrying pad that holds the plastic rockets and the rocket shooter sits locked on the plastic holder. This is by far one the coolest toys. Just stump on it really hard the blue air pad and see how far it flies into the sky. I would suggest doing this not around trees, houses, or anything the rockets can get stuck in, or on. I don’t know how many times I climbed into a tree, on the roof or into the pit area behind our tree’s.

Dart Board
Magnetic Dart Board

They sent along this one as well. Just a plastic board with magnetic arrows that cling to the board. Just use a thumb tack to hold it to the wall, for easy adjustment for the kids. My 4 years, a 3 year old I babysit, and few other kids love this one, great indoor toy. The arrows are light weight, the magnetic pieces are held in well, and very fun to play. If you have any other magnetic arrows laying around from another toy they will work with this dart board. Great dart board for sure our kids, me, grandpa, daddy we all love playing on this. It works better up closer vs farther away, so don’t be to far back.

Faux Bow
Faux Bow

This Bow is a lot of fun tell it broke, but I just got some super glue and wala fixed it up and is all better. This bow is easy to use and fun for all ages. Just pop the arrow on, pull back, let go and bam it will fly far away. Super fun bow and pretty strong and durable, unless you just go and pull on the handle to hard. My 4 year old is very strong and he doesn’t know his strength like his father, so he tends to break things easier than a normal 4 year old that isn’t. When the kids are gone off to school, I go in the backyard and play with it, with our dog, I shoot em, she brings them back. Great way to burn a hour before you get bores. Even a 3 year old can pull it back, doesn’t go as far, but she can get it to shoot few feet!
