Chevy Silverado

About Truck: The Chevy Silverado offers decent handling and a pleasant ride quality, that based on the V6-powered models feel sluggish. Rear- and four-wheel drive are available on the 2011 Silverado 1500, although the reviewer-favorite 5.3-liter V8 actually delivers slightly better ratings of 15/21 mpg. The Silverado can tow up to 10,700 pounds when equipped with the 6.2-liter V8 engine. While extended and crew cabs seat up to six people. The front and back seats are spacious. Like most pickups, the base Silverado comes with few standard features. Air conditioning and a stereo system, and available features include power windows, door locks and mirrors, and satellite radio.Dwayne Lanes of Arlington, the place I bought my Chevy Traverse at, the best Chevy car dealership I know of with great service guys, lots of waiting for your car area’s, kids place, TV’s in both rooms, vending machines, sweet rides inside to ohhh and ahhh over for sure. I love this dealership they are always good to us and make sure our cars are ready soon, they wash and vacuüm them, and keep track of everything for you, so you don’t have to remember. They gave me the 2011 Chevy truck to play with for the day. I had so much fun in it, and wanted to take it 4x4ing super badly.

Front View
Front View

The front view of the truck is well done, lights are up high, everything is well protected, truck is up high enough to take off-road, the hood is easy to find and lift up for easy access to the engine, which is pretty well covered up, and the area’s of refill are easy to reach and find. The seats go up high enough so you can see out the windshield easy. The tork power is pretty decent. Everything is metal, except the bumper, front cover which is all plastic like feeling.

This truck is one the pretty basic lines for the truck. Comes with radio, simple radio settings, center console that goes up and down, to make 3 seat or two, glove compartment, button push compartment on passenger side, simple to use dash-board, gears are easy to move up and down, 4×4 option at feet, plastic/rubber like flooring in front seats, Shifters are easy to use, trailer hitch button, wipers have sprayers in the windshield wipers which is super cool. Everything inside is simple, easy to use, shows your gears, mileage, and everything else very user-friendly.

The back seat is pretty roomy as long as you don’t have super tall or big people riding in front, that need to move the seats back. The seats that fit 3 or 2 comfortably in back for your kids, or anyone else riding along. This truck is a 4 door truck so will make the back seat people to get in and out much easier for sure. The metal hooks for the car seats are easy to access, know digging inside the seat to find them. Right there in front of you, for easy in and out hook ups. Does only fit 2 car seats and a booster for the middle seat. Does and a middle compartment for the people who have drinks and need a place to store them. You don’t have any access to heat control, radio or anything pretty basic back there.

Back end of truck

The back-end of this truck. It comes with fuel flex, trailer hitch, for hauling, the tail gate is heavy and lays comfortably down. The truck bed is pretty big inside and holds anything in there well with hook up options, you can add a bed cover inside or on top for closer or cleaner bed nicely. Has all the hook ups all ready for you when you need to haul a trailer, car, and anything else, and with the shifter button will make everything turn on for lights, blinkers and everything else. The bumper steps are strong and holds all weights well. Pretty simple and easy to use for whatever reason you need it for.

All in all liked the truck, has pretty good pick up speed, gas does go fast on highways and roads, steering is pretty loose, pedals are strong. Everything is in reaching distance, great for up to 6 people comfortably, fluid washer on wipers is nice touch, and pretty easy to drive and park if you’re not used to driving big vehicles. Leg room, and room between you and steering is comfortable for big people. Let alone red for a truck makes the whole world go around. I love trucks and they are fun to drive. Let just say I had a lot special treatment riding this. Diesels, cars, moving trucks, all pulled over so I could pass, and girls in trucks is HOTT.
