My kids and I live in Washington state which is in the Pacific Northwest. My kids and I are extremely active outdoors and if you know Washington, you know that it rains a lot! We really try not to let the rain stop us from doing all our family hikes, camping trips and more. When I heard about Lone Cone and saw some of the products they had I knew I had to try them out. Because it is always rainy out, rain boots are always a must for outdoor play. We received a pair of Muddle Shuttle Rain Boots and they are not only adorable, but perfect for outdoor rainy day play! They are super cute blue boots with the space theme. They have planets, stars, rockets, ufos, and more on them.They are also super comfortable and durable. They are made with 100% rubber that is flexible and allows a ton of fun, comfortable play in puddles and more! The bottoms have amazing tread that keeps your little ones from slipping in the mud and other terrain. They are thick rubber so very durable and we haven’t had any issues with them falling apart which is nice. They even have handles on the top which makes putting them on and pulling them up on your feet easy. They are also completely waterproof so your kids can play outside all day and keep their feet dry. My daughter loves to jump in mud puddles and even with the splashing of the water, her feet stay completely dry! They are lightweight enough and breathable so they can wear them all year round and in all weather conditions. My daughter loves these boots and now I just have to order my other daughter and son a pair so they can each have their own. My son loves packing stuff around and often times he likes to even pack his own diapers, wipes and of course his own teddy bear. We got a Campfire Critters Lone Cone Kids Backpack as well and he just loves it! As a wildlife rehabber, I adore the owls, squirrels, bears and deer on it. I love it even more because it has them roasting marshmallows and has camp fires. It is adorable!! It is even cuter when my son puts all his favorite toys in it when we are out and about and wears it. The straps are comfortable and the entire backpack is a perfect sized backpack for him. My daughter has used it for preschool a couple times when she couldn’t find hers and it was the perfect size for school too! The primary compartment measures 9 by 13.5 by 3.5 inches and the front pocket measures 8 by 9.5 by 1.5 inches. It has a nice grab handle on top and elastic mesh pockets on both sides for drinks or snacks. It is a cute backpack that is great for school and outdoor adventures. These are both great products and we love them and recommend them!
