My kids adore PBS Kids and especially love Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood so they could not have been happier to receive a dvd copy of Best of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Neighborhood Friends Collection to watch and add to their Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Collection. Best of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Neighborhood Friends Collection has a feature run time of 90 minutes and includes 8 episodes. These episodes include Finding a Way to Play on Backwards Day, Daniel and Miss Elaina Play Rocket Ship, Daniel Plays at the Castle, Friends Help Each Other, Katerina’s Costume, Daniel’s New Friend, It’s Love Day! and Prince Wednesday’s Happy Birthday. Each of these fun episodes help teach kids all about friendship and what being a good friend means. My kids just adore each and every one of these episodes but my youngest daughter’s favorite is when Katerina KittyCat knocks her tea set on the floor and Daniel helps her clean it up. They all help kids better understand cooperation, team work, playing nicely together and helping out your friends and neighbors. They not only learn how to give help when its needed, but they can see how important it is to accept help when you need it to. I love that my kids are having a good time and entertained while they watch Best of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Neighborhood Friends Collection but I love the fact that they are learning valuable life lessons even more! This is a great collection and I am so happy to have it as part of my kids movie collection. If you are looking for a new dvd for your kids and they love Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood as much as my kids do, then I highly recommend this dvd. It would make a great Valentine’s Day or Easter gift too!
