Lion King was and always has been one of my personal favorite Disney movies growing up and to this day. My kids have grown up with this love for it as well. They really love the show The Lion Guard and were super stoked to see that a new dvd was coming out. We received The Lion Guard: The Rise of Scar for review and we all really loved it. It has a feature running time of 141 minutes and has five action packed episodes. These include The Rise of Scar, The Trouble with Galagos, Janja’s New Crew, Baboons! and Lions of the Outlands. Kion, Bunga, Fuli, Beshte and Ono have to work together to keep the pride lands safe when Janja, an outland Lion and her hyenas and Ushari a snake try to bring the evil spirit of Scar back to reek havoc on the pride lands. The water source is low and tensions are high but they must stick together to keep everyone safe and the circle of life in check. Makini is a new character, Rafiki’s young apprentice, and must help defend the pride lands. This is a great dvd and we really loved all of the episodes. They tie together really well to make this dvd a must have for your collection! The Lion Guard: The Rise of Scar came out on January 9th so bring home your copy today!
