About them: The word Abaton refers to the small figures, that are also used as game pieces! Every Abaton has a Clan name found at the base of the figure, a Clan Icon found on the back, a Collection Number found on the back of the base, a Dice and comes with a Sticker Sheet to Customize your Abaton!
I had never heard about Abatons Animals before but as soon as I learned they were coming to the United States I was pretty positive I had to get them for my kids. I knew they would love them but didn’t know if they would fully understand how to play the games and they actually did quite well. I received six Series One Blind Packs to review. Each of these blind packs came with two Abatons and two stickers. Each of the Abatons has their own profile and magical powers that help protect them in the games. Each of them are also from a clan. Some clans are from the jungle, others are from the mountains and so on. They also each have a job whether it be a worker, a baby, a warrior or royalty and each of these jobs help them live together and work together. There are 20 base characters and 15 chase variations in each series so there are plenty to collect! The chase Abatons include rare gold plated and ultra rare transparent. We received several cool Abatons. We did receive a couple duplicates but the majority were not. My kids were super stoked to see they had received two rare gold plated and two ultra rare transparent Abatons. They are excited to collect them all. My youngest daughter really isn’t old enough to understand or appreciate the games but my 7 year old loves them. They are Double Hold, Tower Numbers, Bull’s Eye, and Triple Domino. Instructions comes with for each of these games. My youngest loved the stickers they each came with. Overall I would say Abatons are a hit with my kids. My daughter has been asking to play with her friend down the street who has them as well so that may be in our near future! You can purchase these at Target!
