About them: Hazelaid was born when our family first experienced the amazing properties of hazelwood jewelry. Made with pieces of wood from the hazelnut plant, this jewelry seems to have the unique property of alleviating acid-related illnesses when in contact with the skin, illnesses such as acid-reflux, heartburn, ulcers, and many types of eczema. We launched our little online store in April of 2008 out of Portland, Oregon. Eventually we added Baltic amber jewelry as a similar natural relief product. Then in 2010 we moved to Montreal, Quebec and brought the business with us.
I had the pleasure of receiving a 16 inch long Hazelwood All Hematite Necklace for review. I was super excited about trying this out because I have heard wonderful things about all the healing properties the Hazelwood has. I am a huge believer in more natural remedies and prefer them over the traditional medicinal healing agents. My skin is pretty dry and itchy on a regular bases and after hearing that hazelwood helps with Eczema and such so knew I had to try it. I kid you not I started feeling the difference in my skin within a week. By week two my skin looked better and by week three the itching had stopped completely. It was wonderful! Not only did the necklace look nice, but it worked to alleviate my eczema! So to make sure it wasn’t a fluke I took the necklace off and within a couple days I was back to having dry skin and itching. I put it back on and within a week I could feel the difference again. I am a firm believer that Hazelwood works to alleviate eczema. It is also suppose to alleviate acid-reflux, heartburn, ulcers and more and I don’t doubt at all that it will! I highly recommend Hazelaid, especially if you are like me and prefer natural relief. Hazelaid has many different styles and lengths to meet your needs.
