I live in an area with little to no service of any kind. My internet barely works and making or receiving calls or texts on my phone doesn’t happen at all. I like to call my neighborhood a bowl with no service. I have lived here 8 years and have tried many different internet companies, modems and have tried several wi-fi extenders and have not had any luck. I received this AmpliFi Home Wi-Fi System for review and after setting it up I had instant internet! It came in a really nicely displayed box with the AmpliFi Router, two AmpliFi Mesh Points, an Ethernet Cable, a Power Adapter and Instructions. Setting up was quick and super easy! You start by downloading the AmpliFi app which can be used on both iOS and Android devices. Next you power off your modem and connect the Ethernet Cable from the Modem to the AmpliFi Router Base. Next you plug in the power cord to the Base and connect it to your outlet. From there you turn on your modem. It was instant internet! Now to install the Mesh Points was super easy as well. You find a location and plug it in. If within a minute all 5 of the blue lights are solid, you have a perfect connection to your Base. If not, you simply move it to a better area. You do the same with the other Mesh Point. They just plug right into your outlets. They can bend so you can get the best coverage. This AmpliFi Home Wi-Fi System gives you Wi-Fi coverage throughout your entire home up to 10,000 square feet! The whole system is elegant and looks great in your home. The base has a smart LCD touchscreen as well. Since I set it up and began using it my internet actually works the way it is suppose to! I get coverage everywhere in my home on my laptop, tablet and phone. My room mates all get great coverage on their devices as well. We all finally have cell service too! I can make and receive calls, texts, emails and whatnot on my phone now too. I absolutely LOVE this unit and am so happy with it. After 8 years of hit and miss service I was ready for something that worked. The AmpliFi Home Wi-Fi System works amazingly and I highly recommend it!
