Goliath is one of the few remaining family-owned and run businesses in the world of toys and games. Goliath was established in 1980 and ever since has grown tremendously.
My kids and I love to play board games together as a family. We play every weekend together and are always looking for new games to play. We also go over to my parents and have huge family game nights with all my siblings, their kids and my parents. Board games have always been a huge part of our family and how we spend time together so I was pretty excited to receive some new games for review and to include in our Holiday Gift Guide this year from Goliath Games. All three of the games we received were completely new to us which added to the excitement. Stuff Happens is a card game for at least 2 players and for ages 13 and up. It comes with 200 Stuff Happens Cards and instructions. This game is hilarious! You get to decide which is worse between your cards. If the mystery index agrees with you then you win the card. If you correctly rank 10 cards before the other players then you win. It has some pretty crude cards which are hilarious but definitely not recommended for kids that are under 13 years of age.
My kids absolutely had a blast with Greedy Granny. It is for ages 4 and up and for 2 to 4 players. It comes with a granny, her chair, granny’s teeth, a treat wheel and 12 treats in all. Granny has all the treats in her lap and on your turn you spin the treat wheel and take the amount of treats it instructs you to take. You must keep doing so without waking up granny. My girls love this game and think it is hilarious when granny wakes up and her teeth pop out. It has provided many hours of entertainment. The last game we received was Catch the Fox. This one is also for 2 to 4 player and for ages 4 and up. This one is another super fun one for kids. It comes with a fox and his pants, 21 chickens, 4 chicken coops, a die, a sticker sheet and instructions. You must take turns and each roll the die. It tells you how many chickens to put in the foxes pant pockets. Once you do that you push down on the foxes head once and continue around until his pants drop. Once his pants drop you have to collect as many chickens as you can. The player that rescues the most chickens and places them in their coop first wins. Its a super fun kids and my oldest two girls love it! These all are super fun and entertaining games and I definitely recommend them! They would make great gifts for your loved ones this holiday season!
