Pressman Games

About them: Founded in 1922 Pressman Toys has been delighting families for decades with classic games such as Mastermind, Rummikub, Tri-Ominos and innovative licensed products! Since 1922, the Pressman Toy Company has been a force for innovation in the US toy market—from making Chinese Checkers into a craze that swept the nation in the 1920s to making products such as Rummikub, Mastermind, and Triominos into some of the top-selling games of all time. Pressman Toy was the first company to offer a toy doctor’s bag, inspiring generations of American children while making modern medicine a little less scary.

My kids adore the Elf on the Shelf. It has been a tradition of ours since my first born joined our family 7 years ago. Since then, theElf on the Shelf has become well loved and a fun tradition that my whole family enjoys. My kids were pretty excited when we received a couple games from Pressman Toys for review and to include in our Holiday Gift Guide this year. They both center around the Elf on the Shelf so they were beyond thrilled to play them. The first of these games is Where’s The Elf on the Shelf? which is a matching game and my kids love it. It is for ages 3 and up and for 2 to 4 players. It comes with the Elf on the Shelf house game board, an awning for the house, 20 puzzles total on 10 double sided cards, 24 windows, a board topper insert card, a notepad, a pencil and instructions. You can play individually or as a team and you basically use your memory to make matches through the windows. The person or team with the most matches after they are all found is the winner or winners. My older two kids love this game and spend hours playing it. The nice thing is the cars with puzzles can be moved around for non stop fun. This is a great game for little ones and fun for the entire family. The Elf on the Shelf Musical Hide and Seek Game is my kids favorite and it gets everyone up and moving which is awesome and has honestly saved me this winter break so far! It is for 2 to 4 players aged 3 and up as well. This is the Elf on the Shelf that my kids can actually touch and they love it! It comes with The Elf on the Shelf musical game piece, 4 sleighs, 13 gift tokens, 4 high and low cards, a north pole token and the instructions. Playing this one is super fun and easy. Someone starts by hiding the Elf on the Shelf and everyone else must try to find him. The musical game piece plays Jingle Bells and talks to help you locate him. The player that finds him gets a gift token to put in their sleigh. The winner is the first player to collect 4 gift tokens. It is fun and great for those cold winter days that aren’t ideal for playing outside! Both of these games are perfect gifts for your loved ones this holiday season and I highly recommend them!

Disclosure: I received these products for free, in exchange for my honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products and services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
