About Them: GEOSPACE International was founded in 1985 by a young mom with a single unique product: Geospace MAGNETIC MARBLES (also called “space marbles” because they were taken to space for a toy experiment on a NASA Shuttle mission)! We quickly expanded the line of magnetic toys to include games, including the best-selling WORD SPIN™ Game. WORD SPIN received many honors upon its launch and won a number of international awards, including the American MENSA’s “Best Mind Game of the Year” in 1995. Today our product offerings have grown to include the a line of Active Play & Sports toys, including Walkaroo™ Stilts, Jumparoo™ & JackHammer™ Pogo Sticks, Water toys and Outdoor Games.
Geo Space Play offers a HUGE variety of toys for all ages, boys and girls, and even for adults to enjoy. The prices for the toys are perfect, and the toys they offer are from the 80’s and 90’s which is really awesome. That was my era, and I love buying or getting toys that we enjoyed as a kid, and they hardly offer or sell these days. They have such a wide variety of old school toys to purchase which looks like mostly everything I played with when I was 4-12 years old in the late 80’s, early 90’s. I picked out the whip N skip for Winston, he is 4 and he had so much fun trying to figure it out, watch the cool LED lights turn on, and watch how many spins around he got! It took him a bit of practice to catch on, how to get it going, once he did, we had contests to see who could get the most numbers. The loop your foot fits in, fits well in toddlers, and adults so it won’t slip off and fly across the room easily, which is nice. Comes in the color purple, and the LED lights are 3 different colors, that light up when its spinning. The counter, has 4 little boxes making it so you can get into the thousands, and their is a button you can push to re set it!
