After tossing around several ideas, we landed on developing a product that would provide peace of mind when exploring the world with your little ones. We researched the idea and learned that the need for a solution like ELPH was common. In fact, we discovered that there was also a huge need for a product for individuals with Autism, Dementia, Alzheimer’s and other medical conditions. Thus ELPH, Easy Lookup to Phone Home, was born, and, out of some 30 teams who submitted ideas in the Innovation contest.

ELPH Band is a company that makes rubber bands for the wrists for kids. You register the bands, the kids or toddlers wear them, and if they end up lost, kidnapped, or somewhere you can’t find them, the band on the wrist will help you able to track your kiddo’s. These are also great for grandparents who are watching your kids, and they end up loosing them, they will be able to find them. The bands come in one size fits all. They fit snug, with a bit of wiggle room, and just set the band up to the site and phone, and make sure they are wearing them when you take them out. We use ours at Children’s Hospital, that place is a zoo, with kids all over the place, and I am able to spot Winston in the crowd with his band around his wrist. The bands are rubber, the writing is indented into the band, the band is very strong and durable, and very easy to set up. These retail for a great price, and they offer a few colors for boys and girls. Also with the tracking, the phone or computer app you can see where you traveled to, which is really neat idea, because we always forget if we been there or not, when its a one time thing.
