Garfield was a huge part of my childhood. I had a garfield backpack, plush toys and never missed watching it on TV. Now my kids are old enough to really enjoy him as well. My oldest two absolutely adore Garfield. They were pretty stoked to receive Garfield: Nine Lives on DVD. It has a feature running time of 70 minutes and has two adventures in all. These include His Nine Lives and Garfield in the Rough. In His Nine Lives Garfield goes back and explores his past nine lives. It goes way back to cave cat Garfield all the way up to present cat Garfield. He goes through each of these nine lives and then asks his creator to give him another. He tries to say that his last life wasn’t fair and treated him and Odie unfairly so he wants another life. In Garfield in the Rough Garfield, Jon and Odie go camping. Garfield is not thrilled about this choice in vacation. To make matters worse a Panther gets loose and gets into their campground. My kids just loved this adventure. They were laughing so hard because of Garfield and all his witty remarks. If you or your kids love Garfield as much as my kids and I do then I definitely recommend getting your own copy of Garfield: Nine Lives today!
