I could not contain my excitement when I heard Disney was releasing a live action version of Aladdin. Aladdin was one of my favorite Disney movies growing up so I had pretty high expectations for this one! I had the pleasure of receiving a Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital copy of Disney Aladdin for review and could not have been more happy with it! It is rated PG and has a feature running time of 128 minutes. It follows the main story line of the original animated version of Aladdin. Aladdin is a young man who lives on the streets and has to steal food and such to survive. He is talked into going into the Cave of Wonders to fetch a magic lamp for the evil Jafar but ends up having the lamp as his own. He is granted three wishes my the genie and tries to win the heart of Princess Jasmine. It is a magical tale that is sure to be a family favorite! The Blu-Ray includes many bonus features. These include deleted scenes, bloopers, a deleted song “Desert Moon” and more! These are just as interesting as the movie! If you are looking for a great Disney movie for your family movies nights or to add to your movie collection then Aladdin is the one for you! Bring your copy home on 9/10!
I also received a Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital copy of the classic animated version which is now part of the Disney Signature Collection. This made my heart super happy! It is rated G and has a feature running time of 90 minutes. The Blu-Ray Bonus Features include two different ways to watch which include the original theatrical version and a sing along mode, an alternate ending, and lots more! This is a must have for your Disney Collection and I highly recommend it! Get both of these movies on September 10th! You will not be disappointed!
