Adventures of Dally & Spanky

About them: The amazing real-life dog and pony friendship that took the internet by storm becomes a feature-length film when ADVENTURES OF DALLY & SPANKYrides onto DVD and Digital September 10 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Brenna D’Amico (TV’s “Descendants”), whose father is played by country music superstar Trace Adkins, and Reylynn Caster (TV’s “American Housewife”) star as half-sisters who prove that anything is possible when their two animal companions form an unlikely bond that sends their family on an amazing, inspirational journey.

I collect movies so I was pretty excited to watch the Adventures of Dally & Spanky and even more excited to receive a DVD copy to review. The Adventures of Dally & Spanky is rated PG and has a feature running time of 84 minutes. Addy and Ella are two teenage girls that also happen to be half sisters. They really don’t have much in common and don’t really have any bonding between them. When Addy loses her dad, Ella and her dog Dally reach out to try to form a bond. Addy inherits a miniature horse named Spanky and Spanky and Dally hit it off right away. They end up training the two and win the schools talent show which brings the girls even closer. Eventually the talent goes viral and comes in handy once they find out Spanky has to be sent away due to the cost of keeping him being too high. This is a great family film and I highly recommend it. It tells the story of unlikely animal bonds and how to build relationships when all seems hopeless. You can bring home your copy of Adventures of Dally & Spanky on September 10th!

Disclosure: I received this product for free, in exchange for my honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products and services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
