My kids adore PBS Kids and especially love Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood so they could not have been happier to receive a dvd copy of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Tiger Family Trip. It has a feature running time of 110 minutes and has 8 fun stories. These stories include Tiger Family Trip, Visiting Grandpere, The Tiger Family Goes Back Home, The Neighborhood Carnival, Fireflies and Fireworks, The Lemonade Stand and Mad at the Beach. Tiger Family Trip is an extended adventure where Daniel Tiger and his family set off on an adventure to see Grandpere. His mom gives him a map and he realizes road trips can be fun. In Visiting Grandpere Daniel and Grandpere go on a treasure hunt for buried treasure. In The Tiger Family Goes Back Home Daniel and Grandpere go on a boat ride during the sunrise before heading back home. Daniel is nervous and excited about The Neighborhood Carnival. He wants to ride the Ferris wheel but is filled with fear. The Fireflies and Fireworks story is about Daniel and his family taking a picnic and getting a surprise visit from a bunch of fireflies. Later they get to watch a firework show. Daniel and his friend Prince Wednesday can’t decide how to hand out lemonade to their neighbors in The Lemonade Stand. Finally Daniel and his friend get mad at the beach when the sand castle they worked so hard to build gets ruined. Their teacher has to teach them how to let their anger out in a healthy way. My girls love all these episodes and this entire DVD. Tiger Family Trip comes out on DVD May 16th so preorder your copy today!
