About them: It all started with a bar of soap and a goat. In the early 90’s, two friends from Montreal decided the world would be a whole lot softer if more people washed with soap made from fresh goat’s milk. Thus began Canus Goat’s Milk Skin Care and in just a few short years, their original triple-milled bar grew into one of the largest selling soap in all of Canada. The success of the Canus product line grew steadily, reaching international markets. In 2000, the duo introduced the Canus goat’s milk soap bar into the U.S. market and opened offices in Vermont, establishing its American headquarters.
I had never heard of Canus Goat’s Milk Skin Care Products before so was eager to try them out. There are a lot of skincare products out there, especially bath soaps, that I can not use due to allergies so was pretty stoked when I used these without any issues or reactions. I received several products from the Nature line and love them. Not only do they smell absolutely fantastic(like I can not get enough of the scent), but they leave your skin clean and refreshed. The first was the Nature Shea Butter Moisturizing Lotion. It came in an 11.8 oz pump bottle. It lathers in nicely and doesn’t leave a super greasy residue like many lotions do. I love the smell and my skin is softer and my dry skin has been healed and is moisturized now. I use this all the time. I also received a travel sized Nature Shea Butter Moisturizing Lotion that is 2.5 oz that I keep in my purse so it is with me everywhere I go. The next is bar soap. I generally don’t use bar soap because of how sensitive my skin is but I have one of these in both of my bathrooms by the sink and in my tub now because I love them so much. I received four Nature Shea Butter Pure Vegetal Oil Base Soaps. These are all 1.3 oz bars and smell amazing as well. They lather well and make your skin feel soft and clean. My roomies have since started using them too which is awesome. The last was a 5 oz bar of Nature Shea Butter Pure Vegetal Oil Base Soap and it has the same properties as the smaller ones. These products are all made with fresh goats milk and loaded with vitamins, minerals, proteins and triglycerides. They don’t have any added colors, dyes, parabens or phosphates and are not tested on animals which is great. These are great soaps and lotions and I definitely recommend giving them a try!
