About Them: okos was created by two brothers from Minneapolis, Minnesota. After spending time overseas, they returned to the United States with sandals styled similarly to Bokos. The unique design and material made for a durable, easy to clean, and fun to wear sandal. The founders began wearing these sandals everywhere. Around the campsite, after mountain biking, hosting barbecues, and everything in between. Soon, friends and family (and often, strangers) started asking how they could get a pair – to wear to the beach, after a workout, or just to wear around the house.
These Bokos shoes are very slick. I got the pink ones, I wear a size 9 in woman’s and seems like I am the only one on the face of the earth of people I know that do. They were out in size 9 so I got size 8 instead. They are a tight snug, but that’s not to bad since it’s still considered in the Large size in shoes in 8-10 sizes. Since these aren’t flip flop style I can easily pull a 8 off and wont fall off my feet and look and feel good on my feet. The material on the shoes is very soft and rubber like. The design that sits on the bottom of my feet is smooth and comfortable. The thread is high on the bottom so I can wear anytime, or if raining and I need something quick to use to go to the mail box. They have a few cute colors in the woman selection and only go up to size 9.
