The BluApple Review & Giveaway

The BluApple is designed to provide effective ethylene gas absorption for three months in a typical home refrigerator produce bin or storage container. The active ingredient does not “wear out”, but continues to absorb ethylene until it has reached its capacity. A One Year Refill Kit rounds out the BluApple ethylene gas management product line, allowing consumers to reuse BluApples and not add them to landfills.

Do you constantly buy fruits and veggies because they go bad before to long in your home? I know in our state yes its cold a lot, but we tend to crank the heater and then soon enough our fruits and veggies are going bad. We also tend to over buy or fruits and veggies, and as well as our weekly full circle boxes of organic fruits and veggies. Ever since I got this package I have already noticed a difference in the quality and how long they stay fresh longer. I did a fridge test and a counter test.. The fridge test did last longer then the counter test, which was expected. Though the taste of them, did taste better as a counter test, then the fridge test. That’s only based on our climate and temperatures as I am sure its different else where. The apples are very easy to use, just open them up stick them in your fridge or counter and let it do its job. The bigger fruit will use the apple up faster then little produce so just remember that when you use your bueapple. The apples can last anywhere to 1-3 months and are super easy to check when they are used up and need to be refilled. These apples are pretty sweet to have and help keep that budget lasting a wee bit longer!!

Comment Below:

  • I usually use those green bags to keep my produce fresher, longer. I’ve never heard of the blue apple, but would be willing to give it a try!

  • I got tired of throwing out spoiled fruit and vegetables, so I’ve started buying only what I can use in 3 days. It means more trips to the store, but in the long run, I feel like I’m wasting less money/food.
