I had the opportunity to get a bottle of Bellion Vodka for review. I received a full 750 mL bottle of 80 proof Bellion Vodka. It was created with NTX which allows you to drink smarter without sacrificing any fun associated with drinking. It is also infused with natural flavors. I was pretty excited to try this Functional Vodka and even more excited when I found out it is the very first of its kind! I love that it reduces the negative aspects of traditional spirits because of the NTX. NTX is a blend of Glycyrrhizin, Mannitol and Potassium Sorbate and the Glycyrrhizin has actually shown promise as a possible remedy for chronic hepatitis C and liver damage according to researcher Mark Zern, MD. I took this to a meeting with me so my friends and I could try it out and it has your classic vodka taste to it when you take shots of it as is. I personally am not a big shot person but everyone else seemed to really enjoy it. Being 80 proof it is very strong! It mixes really well with juices and such. Screwdrivers are my choice and it went really good in the orange juice. It went down smooth. My dad also tried this and loves it. He is a huge Vodka fan so I was happy to see that he liked this! Bellion Vodka makes a great addition or replacement to any liquor collection. It also makes a great gift!
