I am a busy mom of three and that rarely leaves me any time for my own hobbies or free time. I have recently been trying to set aside a bit of time for myself after my kids go to bed just to relax or whatever strikes my fancy. I have realized with this little time to myself that I have really missed crafting. I absolutely love crafting but because of our busy lives, it gets put on the back burner. When I saw the Bead Brilliantly Kits I knew I had to try one out. I have never really been able to get into beadwork but this kit came with everything I needed to get started. I got the Colorful Triangle Peyote Bracelet Beading Kit and it came with all the Japanese Cylinder Beads you need, Thread, a Beading Needle, a Beading Pad and step by step instructions. The first step is to use the included paper ruler to measure your wrist. You can make your bracelet to fit more snug or looser, whatever works best for you. Now starting out you thread 22 beads and this gives you your first two rows of the bracelet. Next, you just use that pattern and weave your beads as you go. Now, for me, as someone who has never done beadwork before, this was quite challenging. The instructions were crystal clear but I still had difficulty. It could have been just lack of time to work on it, but I could never get a good chunk of it done at one time. It is fun and actually quite relaxing once you get the first part started and get into the swing of it. I am still working on mine and probably will be for some time since I don’t have a lot of time to work on it, but this is a great bead bracelet kit and I can’t wait to finish my bracelet. This would be great for people who love beadwork, love crafting and for anyone who needs something to pass the time away.
