My kids have only been out of school a couple weeks and they are already getting restless and I am already ready for them to go back to school! Most days we try to go out and do something fun as a family but there are still those rainy days here in Washington or those days where we hit record high heat temperatures and end up staying inside for the day. What do we do on those days you ask? Well, we love to play board games together. I was pretty excited to receive a few of Peaceable Kingdom’s Board Games for review. Mermaid Island is a Cooperative Board Game for ages 5 and up. It is for 2 to 6 players and each game lasts about 15 minutes which is perfect for my youngest daughters attention span. In Mermaid Island the players must work together to get all three mermaids to the Mermaid Island before the Sea Witch gets there. Once there you can get the wand and defeat the Sea Witch. My girls love this game and have played it about 20 or so times already since receiving it. I love that they work together so they don’t fight over who wins and who loses. It is a cooperative game that teaches key team building and working together skills which is just what my girls need! I had to get Mole Rats in Space: Escape if You Can! just because it sounded hilarious. It is for kids age 7 and up and for 2 to 4 players. This is another Cooperative Game and each one runs approximately 20 minutes. This is definitely more advanced so for older kids and in this game players must work together to help the mole rats escape from the snakes. It is suspenseful, thrilling and you must use wits and strategy to win this game. My oldest loves this game! Hoot Owl Hoot! is an adorable Cooperative Board Game that targets kids age 4 and up. It is for 2 to 4 players and runs about 15 minutes per game. This one has become another of my girls favorite board games. The players must work together to help the owls get back to their nest before the sun comes up. It is fun and fast paced and keeps my girls entertained for hours on end. All three of these games are super fun and exciting! I love that they are educational and keep my kids learning without them even knowing it! They have to use strategy, work together, cooperation, critical thinking and problem solving skills. If you are looking for activities to keep your little ones busy and learning this summer, Peaceable Kingdom has everything you are looking for!

Disclosure: I received these products for free, in exchange for my honest review, which may differ from yours. Regardless, I only recommend products and services I used personally, and believe will be a good fit for consumers.
